Share A Lollipop with a Friend!

Sharing is caring, that’s what my parents always said. Remembering those little polite things teacher and parents would constantly enforce in our lives. How doing one nice thing for someone else would show how much you care. Funny how simple it used to be. Being a kid and making friends was so easy. All you had to do was share and say hi and it was like you had been friends your entire life. Sometimes I wish it was that easy now. If all I had to do was share a cute little lollipop to get people to be my friend, I would have a hundred friends.

These little life-lessons that you learn as a child seem so far fetch now but are they really? Sometimes we over look those simple gesture. We now think wow that was so easy, wish things could be this easy now. Well maybe they can be. Who said kindness was overrated. I like to still believe that if I left my house right now and went to someone with a cute little lollipop that maybe I would make a new friend. All you read and hear about is all the scary and dangerous things happening in our world. Never about all the good that is happening. Maybe we should be taking more time to be kind and share a lollipop with a friend. Give one to a neighbor, or a kid at school, a coworker, a lady at the grocery store. Share! Share in hopes to start a conversation, make some good, who knows you may make a new friend.

Sharing is caring and can be more important in our adult lives than we know. All lessons we learn as children are important to carry on as adults. What is the true meaning of an original lollipop? To just enjoy a good sucker! NO. The meaning of an original lollipop is that you are taking time to share a mouthwatering yummy confection. You are showing that you care with a lollipop that shows more than you think. A simple gesture making an impact on someone’s day. That person will always remember how when they were tired, working hard, overwhelmed, maybe even having a bad day that you gave them a yummy and delicious lollipop. Sharing is caring and can make a difference in someone’s day. So listen to that advice you once hear and go share a lollipop.
